Gentle Yoga is a practice of melding together breath and movement seated on the floor as well as standing. "Gentle" does not necessarily mean "easy", but it is softer on joints and offers modifications for all levels. Because of the slower pace and gentler movement, gentle classes are suggested as a good start for beginners, but it is a great practice for all levels.
